Why The High Street Estate Agency Needs To Be Customer Service Driven

The high street estate agent may soon be going the way of the butcher, baker and local greengrocer; only the best will survive within a tightly defined sector. This will be the high-end, customer service driven end of things, where service and quality, timely and effective communications, matter more than saving a few pounds on fees. The budget end will then go to the online and hybrid providers.

Traditional High Street Estate Agents

There are thousands across the country but one of the biggest is Countrywide with over 50 household high street brands within its group.

Hybrid Estate Agents

Purplebricks, launched in 2012, is perhaps the best known of the online estate agents. They now employ local representatives who will work with you making them a hybrid.

Online Only Estate Agents

Purple Bricks is perhaps the most online of the online estate agents. For £999 they’ll get you going, advertising your property with rightmove, zoopla and primelocation where most people go to look for their next home. You’ll have all the work to do and they’ll be other fees along the way you’ll need to pay for.
